To make coordination between mobile apps easier for mobile users, many apps today allow users to share content from that app within another, or send that content out via text and email. They will often also allow you to do the reverse, copying outside content to share outside content within Eko.
Thanks to a recent feature upgrade, Eko now allows you to do the same with the Share feature, all with only a few taps!
- To share something from Eko, simply tap and hold your finger on the chosen message or file that you wish to share. One of the options listed in the menu that pops up will be Share. Simply tap that option to bring up your mobile phone’s own sharing options.
- To copy and share something with Eko, such as information from a GPS app, simply tap the appropriate share button within that app. Within the share menu that comes up on your mobile device, one of the options will be Eko. Tap that option, and you will be asked to choose which chat group to post your content in.
You can now share content between Eko and other areas of your mobile device!
Note: Currently the share feature is limited to the mobile version of Eko. This is because web/desktop versions already have multiple ways to share content, thanks to functionality that is already native to Macs and PCs.
