Voice Calls through Eko can be a great way to make quick and easy calls to other users, when messages aren’t quick enough. However, there are still some certain limitations to Voice Calls that you should keep in mind when using the feature.
- Voice Calls are limited by Snooze and Work Hours features, just like other features of Eko. If a user you are attempting to contact has snooze turned on, or is outside of their set work hours, they won’t be able to receive any voice or video calls.
- The total amount of users that can be on a Voice Call at a given time is currently 30, so any groups larger than that will not have the voice call button available.
- For audio output on Eko web/desktop, voice calls will always use the default microphone and speaker outputs that you have indicated on your computers’ settings. To switch between headphones or the built-in inputs/outputs, you will have to access the settings on your computer.
