To manage user’s accessibility, administrators can set up permissions and roles. With permissions, a user can be granted access to certain workflows and be limited to who within the directory they can see. To get a better understanding, here are some examples below.
Example 1: Giving access to manage broadcasting
If an administrator wishes to assign certain groups of users (sub-admin) to manage only certain features, eg broadcast, but do not want to allow them to access other features in the admin panel, administrators can do so in Admin Panel by:
- Creating a new directory group for the users or add them into an existing directory group.
- Then grant permission to the directory group via Permissions > Admin Panel > Broadcasting access.
- Select their directory group and click Add.
Example 2: Giving access to manage Forms
If an administrator wishes to assign certain groups of users to edit specific forms, administrators can do so in Admin Panel by:
- Creating a new directory group for the users or add them into an existing directory group.
- Then grant permission to the directory group via Permission > Admin Panel > Forms Template access.
- Select their directory group, type in the Forms’ name and click Add.
Or
- Grant permission to them under Forms setting.
- Click on the Forms you wish to grant editing permission.
- Check the box beside “Restrict to specific directory groups”.
- Type in the directory group and click on the pop up
- Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page to complete this process.
Example 3: Giving access to view Portals
If an administrator wishes to assign certain groups of users to view specific portals, administrators can do so in the admin panel by:
- Creating a new directory group for the users or add them into an existing directory group.
- Then grant permission to the directory group via Permission > Admin Panel > Portal.
- Select their directory group, type in the Portals’ name and click Add.
