You may have seen a few titled buttons at the very top of the People area (on Eko mobile), or a filtering option titled ‘All’ (on Eko web/desktop). These are options that allow you to filter the People/Contacts list, and we’ll go over each option one by one.
Note: In the latest version of Eko, the name of this tab will depend on whether you are using the standard Eko platform or Eko Enterprise (‘People’ for Standard, ‘Contacts’ for Enterprise.)
The Colleague view (shown as ‘All’ on Eko web/desktop) shows all users you have access to in your workspace
The Favorites option lists all the users which you have selected as a ‘favorite’, for quick and easy access to those users. We go over how to do this in the Add to Favorites article.
The Active option (the default view) lists all users who are currently active in the app. Active users will have a green dot next to their name listing to indicate that they are online.
The Department option - listed in the filter on web/desktop, but as an actual listing at the top of the people area in mobile - takes you to a list of your organization’s departments, so you can further narrow down the user based on their role in the org.
- The External option (currently mobile only) shows a list of all external users, such as consultants or contracts, who have been granted access to your workspace. We go over this process in more detail in the Internetworking section.
