There may be times when you need to focus on your work without any distractions. For these periods, we recommend setting your notifications on ‘Snooze’. In Eko, you can ‘Snooze’ notifications for a pre-set period of time - from 15 minutes to 8 hours - or manually set a time period. Here’s how.
Note: As of the latest version of the Eko App, notifications can only be set to Snooze from the mobile (iOS/Android) version of the app. The ability to set it from the Mac, PC, and Web versions is planned for a future release of those versions.
Option 1: Snooze Notifications for a Pre-Set Time
- From the Recents tab, tap the Notifications icon in the upper-left in iOS, or on the upper-right in Android. (It should look like a series of sliders for iOS, and a three-dot icon in Android. The Android version will give you Notifications as a dropdown option, alongside Archived Chats.)
- Tap the Snooze option near the top of the list.
- Select the snooze frequency of your choosing. You can select ‘15 minutes’, ‘1 hour’, ‘3 hours’, ‘8 hours’, ‘Until 8AM’, or ‘Set Time Manually’.
Option 2: Snooze Notifications for a Manually Set Time
If you follow the instructions above, and then choose the ‘Set Time Manually’ option, you will be prompted with a screen that will allow you to indicate what time notifications will resume, down to the minute, hour, and AM/PM window. If you choose a minute and hour that has already passed that day, notifications will be snoozed until you hit that minute and hour the next day.
You have now successfully set up Snooze on Eko!
