c. Response types
When you want to add a new question to your form, think what type of answer it should have, then pick the corresponding element
Let’s go through all of the response types:
Short answer — works well for collecting quick data (first name, last name, etc.) or contact information (phones, emails). You can choose type of the input — text, numeric or email.
Long answer — recommended for collecting feedback, reviews, ideas and other potentially longer texts.
Single choice — question accompanied by several possible answers from which the person filling the form can choose only one.
Multiple choice — the question accompanied by several possible answers from which the submitter can choose several.
Date picker — the question with an interactive calendar, allowing the submitter to pick a date.
Time picker — the question with an interactive time picker, allowing the submitter to input a time.
Image — this question is recommended for collecting visual information (ID scans, etc.) or confirmation (visual proof of work done, etc.)
Attachments — this question is recommended for collecting documents or any files supports.
Settings — tab for configuring form approval process.
Enable Hierarchy Approval to set up a scenario for the form to automatically go to different stages of approval. Form moves to the next level only after the previous stage of approval responded to it.
